Industrial design student Haorong Chen brings us a nifty little light that calls on the joys of the simple swing.

02YO, whose name is presumably a mash-up of oxygen and Yo-Yo (also Chinese for “leisurely, wobbly”) harnesses the exuberance of both breath and movement.

The brightness of the light is controlled by the height of the ball’s arc, “bringing the joy of interacting with the swing into our limited interior space.”
