The new U.S.-dedicated brand spins off from Optima Systems, a British entity with a pronounced presence throughout the U.K., as well as Australia, Asia, and EMEA regions. Puroptima’s U.S. presence is a collaboration with Behar Office Interiors (B.O.I.), an NYC interiors firm who will be Puroptima’s initial project delivery partner. The two companies offer a “shared ambition to introduce the U.S. commercial design and real estate market to the highest quality, most sustainable glass wall partitions and door solutions currently available.”

The initial product offering includes a trio of Puroptima’s flagship products: Optima 117 Plus, Revolution 54 Plus, and Revolution 100, in addition to the company’s “Optima Adaptable Wall,” a demountable, reconfigurable solid wall solution with excellent acoustical properties that’s ideal for projects with rigorous environmental standards. Adaptable Wall is a 100 mm-wide system that easily connects with double- and single-glazed partitions, for visual continuity across the workspace.

Puroptima’s glass partitions and doors are distinctive for their excellent adaptability and elegant appearance: “minimal head and base channels and artful glass to glass dry joints create the illusion of vast areas of unsupported glass.”

Optima Systems has a portfolio of working on projects with leading brands in some of the world’s most iconic buildings. The company also has a reputation for sustainability. Many of the projects they’ve worked on have earned the Platinum LEED standard. The company also recently switched to low-carbon Hydro CIRCAL, a certified low-carbon aluminum made with a minimum of 75% recycled post-consumer scrap: “This important innovation is helping the company reduce its carbon footprint, as global business and industry move closer to Net Zero 2050.”

Christian Mabey, Managing Director of Optima Products Limited, says the entry into the U.S. market has been a long-standing ambition: “We are particularly keen to show contractors, specifiers, and building owners how choosing our glass wall systems will deliver maximum ROI, from striking aesthetic design to market-leading acoustic performance and carbon savings… New York City, with its vibrant commercial construction scene, was a strategically obvious place to start.”
