Fresh from Milan, the Baia armchair by Marco Zito is a subtle celebration of the simple circle.

We see repetition of the circle motif in both Baia’s frame and its structural elements. With their circular profile, the chair’s solid wood legs extend from the floor to the top of the chair back, “defining the armrests and offering a detail of proportion and elegance.”

The back, with its encompassing shape, offers a circular motif as well. Lastly, the upholstery interior is sectioned off into curved compartments, like waves of different amplitude that create a unique decorative aspect.
