Kimball International doesn't make too much fuss about the new Picado task chair by National.
The forward-thinking brand is content to sum it up with concision: "stunning style and simple comfort."
We're prone to agree. Picado (the name is Spanish for "a bunch of little pieces," referring to the mesmerizing perforated back) offers all the ergonomic features one would expect but with a flashy and streamlined design that makes Picado—dare I say it—quite stylish.
With its single, slick diagonal swoop from back to base, Picado makes quite an aesthetic gesture. It's rather more like Picasso drawing on air than a highly engineered workplace staple.
Picado's finish palette adds to its appeal. The chair is available in six vibrant colors. Upholstery may be specified in the same color for a monochromatic look or used to create additional flair with a contrasting color or pattern.
Kimball offers both worksurface and stool-height models. Get further details at Kimball International.
