HD Expo + Conference Just Two Weeks Away
Mark your calendars for the annual return of the HD Expo + Conference, May 2 -4 in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
With more than 600 exhibitors and an exciting roster of new programming, this year’s expo (always the largest U.S.-based hospitality event of its kind) promises to be especially propitious for professionals in the trenches and on the periphery of the industry. Participants include interior designers, architects, hoteliers, owners, operators, developers, and purchasers.
This year’s show is unprecedented for the scope of programming and show floor enhancements. Highlights include
- HD University: a pre-show product specification bootcamp for designers in collaboration with the International Society of Hospitality Purchasers (ISHP)
- Women in Design Award’s Breakfast: celebrating industry innovation and achievement with a keynote speaker from Zappos
- The HD Café: a new food and beverage space spearheaded by celebrity chef Michael Mina and featuring dining space with offerings inspired by four of Mina’s restaurants
- The DesignWell Pavilion: a space and thinktank for innovations in health and wellness strategies within the hospitality sphere

The above is just the proverbial drop in the bucket, as there are dozens more spaces, events, and speakers on the docket. And, of course, the stars of the show are always the thousands of hospitality products on display.
