Duravit at BDNY 2022
Manufacturer Duravit premiered exciting collaborations at BDNY, with a meticulously designed booth jam-packed with some tried-and-true favorites as well as new collections.
Zencha by Sebastian Herkner
The spacious square tub featured above is a centerpiece of Sebastian Herkner’s Zencha line. The designer’s initial collaboration with Duravit features a Japandi aesthetic. Inspired by the ritual and serenity inherent in Japanese bathing and tea ceremonies, Zencha ofers ceramic fixtures, furniture, and mirrors, “bringing a sense of harmony and heightened wellness to the bathroom.”
Soleil by Starck
Duravit and Phillippe Starck continue their longstanding collaboration with the sumptuous Soleil. True to form, Soleil offers a synthesis of pragmatism and elegance. It’s a compact line with a decidedly luxurious feel—with contours evocative of vessels of the sea. Soleil is yet another line in the Starck/Duravit tradition of increasing accessibility to top design: “a first-rate choice for bathroom projects at an attractive price point.”
Duravit No. 1
