Evo by Jonas Forsman for EFG
Sometimes, it’s best to go back to basics.
But basic shouldn’t be taken to mean typical. To the contrary, Jonas Forsman’s Evo chair puts a unique spin on classic Scandinavian design.
Yes, Evo showcases the main ingredients of Scandinavian style, not limited to natural materials, streamlined design, and tactile appeal. But as the image above shows, it also features incredibly slim and sculpted components engineered to fit together easily and intuitively.
The wood is beautiful, of course, but Evo’s most notable feature may be the elegant swath of textile doing double duty as seat and back. This is a bespoke 3D knitted mesh from Camira Fabrics—sourced from post-consumer waste.
Evo is made of solid wood. Options include dark or light fabric and foot ends in plastic or felt.
