Designer Vico Magistretti was born in 1920. One hundred years later, manufacturer Fritz Hansen acknowledges his illustrious career by re-issuing the dazzling stackable Vico Duo Chair.

First released in 1997, Vico Duo zipped into our consciousness via its unorthodox silhouette, the expressionistic Z-shape of the backward armrests—which boldly dive into the back legs in a single-piece—defining its captivating aesthetic.

Vico Duo has always exemplified the strength of a dynamic duo, in this case Fritz Hansen and Magistretti, as the latter was “keen to collaborate with Fritz Hansen and leverage its expertise and tradition in veneer.”

Updates for the latest incarnation include new comfy arm pads and black powder coated bases.

As always, Vico Duo comes in a variety of finishes, including Oak, Walnut, and Black Ash. The base is also available in the original classic chromed steel. Custom options are offered too.
