Tile of Spain 2020 designs were not only underfoot, but also on ceilings, walls, and countertops, at last month’s Cersaie (the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings).

Modernized Marble is a stunning, large-scale symphony of vibrantly veined designs.

The innovation here is in utilizing “highly sought after luxurious designs typically reserved for floor tiles,” in over-sized slabs that work for countertops, vanities, and walls.

There was also a compelling re-contextualization of wood with The “Natural Wood Look”—expanding both palette and texture while still mimicking the classic aesthetic of natural lumber.

Lastly, the “Return to Color” enhances graphic options for tile applications: “Long gone are the days of neutral color pallets and muted monotone spaces, 2020 is all about doses of blue, pink, yellow, and green.”
