Ultrafabrics has introduced its first ever bio-based collection of fabrics. Called Volar Bio, the collection is the first of its kind for the fabric manufacturer and incorporates renewable plant-based materials into the finished product.

When creating Volar Bio, Ultrafabrics had both functionality and sustainability in mind. Volar Bio is a step in the right direction of reducing people’s dependency on a finite amount of resources in favor of renewable plant-based materials.

The collection touts a 29-percent BioPreferred Program Label and uses corn-based content and wood pulp-based materials. Volar Bio is available in nine natural, mineral-inspired colors.
