Bela Lamps by Doshi Levien for Kettal
When Doshi Levien designed Bela ropes, an outdoor material for Kettal, the designer had a hunch that the handwoven material could be applied to other products. This was back in 2017. Now, two years later, Levien has created a line of lamps for the outdoor furnishings company using the same materials.

Called Bela Lamps, the range of table and floor lamps was designed to be both colorful and versatile. A handle makes it possible to hang the lamp, or it can be set on a flat surface.

Levien was inspired by an annual kite festival in her native India made up of wooden kites that are illuminated from within. Bela Lamps are available in 17 different colors.
