Ultrafabrics at Helsinki Fashion Week
This summer, Ultrafabrics partnered with Helsinki Fashion Week in a concerted effort to demonstrate the potential of animal-free fabrics.
The leather-free event was the ideal venue for the company, premium manufacturers of polyurethane-based, animal-free fabrics for five decades.
The event showcased fashion applications, including vegan leather bags by Townsley and textiles used by renowned fashion designers including Jerry Wu, Nagina UK, Laura Bilgin, and Aritzia. The Fair highlighted Furniture applications as well, with a collection of seating and ottomans from Fredericia.
Panels at the Fashion Week engaged issues of sustainability and the environment. Said Nicole Meier, Ultrafabrics’ Director of Branding: “It’s really exciting to see how innovation of materials can be a step towards solving problems we are facing today.”
Ultrafabrics offers a wide range of animal-free, polyurethane textiles for indoor and outdoor use. See the entire portfolio here.
