Carl Hansen & Son Adds Bodil Kjær’s Indoor-Outdoor Series to Its Collection

In 1959, Bodil Kjær created a broad range of modern furniture suitable for both indoor and outdoor usage. Now, nearly six decades later, Carl Hansen & Son has added the Danish architect's Indoor-Outdoor series to its collection.

Made of teak and originally designed with the American market in mind, the Indoor-Outdoor series consists of a lounge chair, a small table, a dining table, a dining chair, a two-seat lounge sofa, a swing sofa, and a sunbed. Past renditions of the collection were made using mahogany, teak, and ash.

Each piece is made using high-quality materials and superior craftsmanship, allowing the collection to withstand weather conditions like that found in Denmark, including direct sunshine, rain, fog, and wind.
