The Marvelous Modos Standing Desk
The Modos model utilizes a panel-based system to make sustainable furniture that ships flat, assembles/disassembles easily, and can be morphed into different pieces as user needs evolve.
The Standing Desk is a great example. A simple design that assembles without tools, the Modos Standing Desk is a lightweight, no-frills addition to any workspace.
As with all Modos furniture, the Standing Desk is constructed of wood panels that are made from 13 layers of kiln-dried, sustainably harvested birch. The exterior features maple or walnut laminate veneers and soy-based glue, “making them strong, stable, and beautiful.”
And the aluminum-extruded connectors are smart and slick, with a contemporary aesthetic, universal functionality, and impressive structural durability.
All Modos products are truly made in the U.S.A. The connectors come from the Southeast; the wood is sourced from North Carolina; and the wood panels and final products are made in the Brooklyn Navy Yards.
