Based on its namesake tree, Acacia should be directed toward the sun. “The parasol-shaped crown of the African Acacia tree is an evolutionary adaptation to capture as much sun as possible with the smallest possible leaf canopy,” explains Extremis.

Despite a small surface area, Acacia deflects the sun’s rays quite well. And after sunset, the parasol can be illuminated with its rechargeable, integrated LED light.
