Engineered Wood Flooring from Shaw Contract
Providing all the warmth and tactile qualities of hardwood while exhibiting superior performance, Shaw Contract’s engineered wood flooring is an artisanal product that blends old world craftsmanship with modern engineering.
Two types of engineered flooring are available: High-Density Core and Ply Core. The former features a proprietary core constructed of high percentage recycled material, and the latter uses alternating layers of wood veneers.
Both offer increased dimensional stability, dent resistance, and minimized squeaks. And a uv-cured urethane finish provides superior durability and resistance to fading.
There’s also a uv-cured oil finish for the “Camaret” style—providing an elegant old world look.
Shaw Contract’s Engineered Floors come in eight different styles, each with different options for type of wood and color. The flooring is Lacey Act-compliant and CARB II- and TSCA VI-compliant. Select styles are Greenguard- and Cradle-to-Cradle-Silver-certified.
“Working with their hands to carve, stain, and distress hardwood samples, Shaw Contract’s artisans bring out the unique qualities and characteristics of each piece of wood.”
