At NeoCon 2018: Sedia Systems Gnosi Seating Collection
Sedia Systems is showing the new Gnosi seating Collection at NeoCon.
A multi-purpose piece with a super-slim seat, Gnosi is right for a variety of hospitality and contract settings: "from classroom to cafeteria, from auditorium to library, from corporate training room to collaborative work spaces."
Designed by Marcelo Alegre of Valencia's Alegre Design, Gnosi was inspired by the fountain at Chicago's Harris Bank Building. The piece also captures the ethos and the spirit of Alegre's compatriot Picasso: "I sought to create a chair with one stroke of the pen, mimicking the sense of continuity and simplicity that the fountain conveyed."
The result is a clean and organic aesthetic with a variety of stylistic options: seven seat colors, three frame finish options, fixed or freestanding arrangements, and eight base options include swing-away and fixed.
