At NeoCon 2018: Big Wins for Andreu World
Valencia-based Andreu World did Spain proud at NeoCon this year, taking home a pair of Golds (Reverse Stone Table and Duos Barstool) and a pair of Silvers (Dado Modular Sofa and Flex Armchair)
Piergiorgio Cazzaniga's Reverse Occasional Table Collection evokes the iconic forms of Greek architecture.
With a choice of monochrome finish in cement or Carrara Marble, the table is simultaneously earthy, organic, and textural-evoking stability and weight while also suggesting a light touch, such is the fineness of the the top’s silhouette.
Options include varying base and top heights and thicknesses, making the piece appropriate for multiple venues, including collaborative workspaces, meeting rooms, lobbies, and waiting rooms.
Dado by Alfredo Häberli is a handsome sofa with fine classical proportions and an accommodating feel.
A modular piece, Dado offers variety and the opportunity for creative expression with different sizes of central modules, corner pieces, chaise lounges, and footrests.
The pictorial quality of the sofa is further emphasized via the thick banding that outlines the plush upholstery-"Dado contains a series of subtle details. Its upholstery proposes a combination from the main fabric, the welting, and a series of small bands that-matching or contrasting-define its essential geometry."
