The Amazing Eames Coffee Table
Created by Charles and Ray Eames for use in their own California home, the Eames Coffee Table is an enduring icon of modern design.
Originally designed in 1949, this beautiful, functional piece is in production for the first time-courtesy of Design Within Reach and Herman Miller.
Characterized by a dowel and wire base (a formulation similar to aficionados of the Eames' classic Shell Chair), the Coffee Table offers a spare aesthetic in which form emerges from function.
The versatile table is at home in private residences or upscale hospitality venues, evoking the Eames' own Pacific Palisades aesthetic, yet equally reminiscent of the inner and outer landscapes imagined by Frank Lloyd Wright.
The streamlined top is available in ash, walnut, or Carrara marble. Dowel legs come in ash, walnut, or ebonized ash.
Choose the Eames Coffee Table with a square or rectangular top. See Design Within Reach for further information.
