A playful light with a good dose of joie de vivre, Perch Light Branch by Umut Yamac for Moooi replicates a common backyard picture in sparkling brass and translucent white.

"What is more poetic and elegantly captivating than a bird perched on a branch, flirting, singing and celebrating life?" Moooi asks. Not much is our answer.

Made of steel, aluminum, and PP (the fancy name for polypropylene), Perch Light Branch contains an LED light source inside each geometric bird, which looks like glowing origami.

The cable length and suspension poles of Perch Light Bird can be adjusted, so the suspension lamp works with high and low ceilings in spaces large and small.

Yamac has also designed a table, floor, and wall version of the lamp, and a sculptural Perch Light Tree is coming soon-complete with a large flock.
