Calling to mind a radio telescope, the Polar Lamp by Melbourne, Australia-based design and lighting studio Ross Gardam is a geometrical wonder that adds polish to any interior setting.

Each desk lamp is equipped with a magnetically attached arm, which allows the lamp’s disc to easily rotate, offering either direct or indirect light.

The Polar Lamp’s ceramic base is handcrafted using traditional slip casting and is bisque fired and unglazed. The disc is available in a variety of colors, including dusty pink, midnight blue, and polar white, as well as a gold mirrored acrylic. Each lamp includes a sustainable 5.5W LED globe light, switch, and plug.
