NeoCon 2017: Net Works and Entrada by Carnegie
Exciting new fabrics from Carnegie exhibited at NeoCon 2017, including Entrada and Net Works, which won NeoCon Silver for window treatments.
Available this fall, Net Works is an active wear-inspired suite of three draperies: Globe, Space, and Link. All fabrics feature an open-knit technology that captures light while an iridescent effect provides privacy.
Space is a square net fabric offered in 10 colors. Link is a more open knit with a fine black yarn knitted within. Globe, the largest knit, uses a smooth matte yarn "to create a strong mid-century design ambiance."
Entrada kills the proverbial two birds by offering visual appeal and acoustical capabilities. Laser cut then sewn into a 3D structure, Entrada is a panel drapery ideal for contract settings.
Entrada plays with light and shade while blocking sound, "bringing privacy to interiors." Made of 100% Trevira CS, the panel fabric resembles a fine wool felt and passes stringent fire codes.
