A Fabulous Facade of Fireclay Tile
Fireclay Tile's handmade, locally-sourced, super-strong glazed brick tiles were recently featured in an auspicious project by San Francisco architect David Baker.
388 Fulton, a micro-residential development, is comprised of 70 studio and two-bedroom apartments built around a courtyard. With ample bicycle parking, the high-density building is designed to encourage the use of alternative transportation.
The building façade is adorned in Fireclay Tile's Thin Brick-a sustainably manufactured tile made of 100% reclaimed earth.
While the individual bricks in the Thin Brick Collection have a rustic appearance, the 388 Fulton façade is clean and contemporary-the graphite color gives it an eye-catching reflective quality.
Fireclay Tile's Thin Bricks are available in 24 unique, lead-free glazes, in addition to custom colors. Contact Fireclay Tile for more information.
