by DVX is the first commercially available residential faucet created with 3D printing technology (AKA additive manufacturing). Given its innovative design and manufacturing process, it's no surprise that the Vibrato Bathroom 3D Faucet won Best in Bath Gold at KBIS 2016.
But it's not necessarily the 3D printing that makes Vibrato so masterful. What's more amazing is the way it works: water seems to appear out of nowhere at the end of the faucet, invisible within the lattice. This feat of legerdemain is achieved through "the complexity of multiple waterways" that eventually meet to produce a conventional aerated flow.
What Vibrato does, essentially, is create a shift in our daily routine by offering a little bit of magic, turning an everyday object into a small wonder. It's not often that design achieves this level of surprise and delight.
