Siamese Chair by Karim Rashid for A Lot of Brasil
Winner of a Green Good Design Award for 2016, Siamese Chair was designed by Karim Rashid for A Lot of Brasil, which makes sustainable furniture in Brazil using Brazilian materials. Featuring ecoplástico, Siamese Chair is made from an eco-plastic injection of Amazonian Açai and Ipe Roxo, which are quickly regenerating trees.
Siamese Chair has a fitting name, given its design: it features two rounded halves with a sinuous spine and amoeba-like sections-a favorite Rashid shape.
A Lot of Brasil's collaboration with Rashid, an internationally recognized designer, illustrates the company's drive. For two consecutive years, it has also been the only Brazilian company to present at the Milan Furniture Fair.
