Foscarini’s Chouchin Reverse Lamps Team Craft-Based Expertise With Modern Style
Evoking the 1970s with its lantern shape and avocado green, grey and orange colorways, Foscarini‘s Chouchin collection by Ionna Vautrin.
Simple and stylish, Chouchin Reverse teams unique craft-based expertise with a modern and strikingly simple style.
The Chouchin Reverse takes its name from traditional Japanese paper and bamboo lanterns used as light and bright signs outside restaurants and bars, or as lucky charms outside homes.
Launched in 2014, the lamps are made from blown glass that has been painted on the lower rim, while the main body of the lamp is left white.
The Reverse lamp casts a wide and even light making it suitable for a different range of environments.
