"The design process was very much about tailoring," explain the designers. "The quilted ribs are seemingly wrapped around the shape and enhance the dynamics of the pentagon."

Online furniture brand Hem has launched a family of playful poufs including cylinder, cube and oblong designs. Called Bricks, the poufs come in a variety of colours and can be used either as a seat or foot rest.
