"We aimed to capture the natural tones and variations in light and shade that are present in our surroundings, the landscape of London," says Jay Osgerby of London studio Barber Osgerby of their Mews tiles for Mutina. Edward Barber adds, "We have longstanding interests in color and tonal composition. For our collection, instead of producing one color that is homogenous – we have selected one base color and created a palette of many shades."

Mosa-Scenes

Available in four different textures, ranging from rough grain to powdery soft clay, the Mosa Scenes collection by Dutch tile manufacturer Mosa is available in variations of 15 by 15 centimeter base sizes and comes in two color ranges.

Shades of Gray by New Ravenna Mosaics

Traullit tiles by Baux

The Träullit tiles by acoustic panelling brand Baux are a series of colorful, sound absorbent tiles for the office. Made from wood, wool, cement and water the tiles are available in six simple geometric shapes and a palette of 20 colors.
