Spa-like escapes: Bathroom Trend

Bathroom brand Villeroy & Boch predict that in 2015, design directions will move away from traditional bathrooms in favor of a more modern aesthetic with form and function coming together to create stunning spa-like escapes. With this in mind, we highlight three irresistibly indulgent bathroom designs for the coming year.

The ideal centerpiece for any modern bathroom, Villeroy & Boch's award winning La Belle deep freestanding tub features clean lines and an ergonomic rectangular shape that communicates a sense of lightness. Made from the brand's durable Quaryl material, the sumptuous tub is available in pure White Alpin and dramatic Graphite Noir.

GROHE SPA®'s F-digital Deluxe is a super-slim and intuitive control panel that allows you to create a multi-sensory spa experience in your own home.  By touching the 'dry zone' controller, users can choose their own combination of lighting, sound and steam  - three elements that GROHE have highlighted as having a positive effect on physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

The RainSky E ceiling panel from Dornbracht surrounds you with water, mist, light and fragrance for a complete sensory shower experience. Designed by German studio Sieger Design, the panel automatically synchronizes the rain curtain, head and body sprays, mist spray, colored light and fragrance to produce a specific ambience.
