The ergonomic collection of chairs and armchairs is named after the famous ‘Lancia Appia Sedan’, an Italian car introduced in 1953. The two designs share the same curvaceous lines and innovative use of materials such as aluminum – the Appia chair’s die cast aluminum frame makes the chair comparably lightweight without compromising its stability.
Available with or without armrests and designed for use in both public and private spaces the stackable Appia can be used both indoors and out.
The seat and backrest are available in polypropylene, natural, white or black oak veneered plywood and a variety of leather and fabric options.
