White Texture: Bathroom Trend
Embossed textures, cut outs and white on white patterns bring subtle decoration to these understated washbasins and tubs.
Konstantin Grcic worked with Swiss bathroom brand Laufen to produce a series of washbasins made from Laufen’s revolutionary ‘SaphirKeramik’ material. Composed of geometric shapes, patterns and textures of varying sizes, the designs feature decorative but functional details such as textured drainage surfaces for placing soap and bathroom products.
Comprising two gently textured egg-shaped tubs and a curved basin, the architecturally designed ‘Dune’ Collection by French interior designer Caroline Beaupere for AF New York is inspired by the sculpted dunes a found in the Siwa Oasis in the Libyan Desert.
Part of Turkish ceramic brand VitrA’s ‘Jewel’ Collection by Matteo Thun, this white solid stone washbasin cover features a decorative flower pattern.
The perfectly round ceramic Tulip sink by Bissonnet Kitchen and Bath is distinguished by the subtle matte white damask pattern that decorates the inside of the bowl.
Made of vitreous china and available with above-counter or wall-mount installation, Kohler’s white ‘Conical Bell Vessel’ sink features a subtle low-relief floral design.
