At Healthcare Design Conference 2014: New Designs by Kimball® Health
, a new division of Kimball Office, is debuting this month at the Healthcare Design Conference 2014. Three new collections, as well as a sleeper chair, a treatment chair and casegoods, will be on display. Kimball Health has developed its healthcare line with flexibility in mind, so it can meet the needs of patients, their families, and healthcare workers.
Innovative Details, Multiple Functionalities, and Cupron Antomicrobial Material
With a focus on evidence-based design, Kimball Health products offer innovative details, multiple functionalities, and a wide variety of options. Alpine offers space-saving designs for ambulatory spaces and emergency departments. The collection includes guest, patient, and tandem seating. Inspired by mid-century design, Saffron lounge, guest, and tandem seating features a sculpted wood exterior frame. Saffron solid surfaces are treated with Cupron, an inherent antimicrobial material. Designed for smaller, private waiting rooms "yet durable enough for higher traffic lobby and lounge areas," Villa "evokes an architectural essence" with its generous 5-inch arms.
Kimball Health is also introducing treatment and sleeper chairs. Meadow treatment chair has an independent footrest and back operation, infinite back-lock in one-degree increments, and a supportive contoured back. Meadow options include transporter base, bag hook, and folding med and articulating food trays. Shore is a single pullout sleeper/lounge chair with an innovative, enclosed mechanism that operates smoothly and won't slip off the track. The product's 80-inch sleep surface will put guests at ease.
