Inspired by a cymbal and bell in a drum set, Crash & Bell by Foscarini will be available for purchase in the United States and Canada beginning in August. Part of the Diesel Living with Foscarini collection, these two musical pendants were composed by the Diesel Creative Team. In bronze or aluminum, these two separate but complementary lamps are rhythmic and resplendent.

Musically-Inspired Pendants Feature Groovy Surface

Both Crash & Bell have "a surface treatment with small, concentric grooves, similar to their musical inspirations." I would add that the circular lines also resemble old vinyl records. The lamps also feature exposed bulbs and faceted glass: "multi-faceted blown glass element resembling vintage glassware which projects beams of fragmented light onto the diffuser’s metal surface and at the same time leaves the naked bulb in full view in a clear reference to the world of industry."
