U.S. Debut of Upholstered Furniture from Poliform
The late Spring season brings welcome news from manufacturer Poliform. The company recently announced that three new upholstered furniture designs will now be available in the U.S.: the Paris-Seoul Sofa, the Ipanema Armchair, and the Mad Chair.
Poliform's Upholstered Offerings Are Spacious and Stylish
Designed by Jean-Marie Massaud in 2012, Paris-Seoul synthesizes grandiosity with modern style. The plush cushions are constructed of flexible polyurethane with double-density inner spring-a sliding mechanism allows for different depths. Available in coverings of cotton cloth/feather and leather.
Also by Massaud, Ipanema evokes the Rio locale of the famous song, while also suggesting a modern silhouette. The frame is solid wood ash-dyed oak. Options include a feather-filled seat cushion with removable leather or fabric covering.
Lastly, Marcel Wanders' flexible moulded polyurethane Mad Chair features a polyester padding pre-cover and your choice of removable stretched coverings in leather or fabric. The jauntily splayed legs are made of solid ash-dyed oak.
