This week at NeoCon, Shaw Contract Group launched an array of  bold new carpet products.

Three new products were added to the View, a tile and broadloom quick ship collection with options to meet a broad range of commercial applications. The newest styles, Field Tile, Realm Tile and Scape Tile are offered in a palette of 12 colors - from tonal to bold. Taking cues from organic shape and bold, energetic lines, the new styles feature optical textures and patterns, which provides added flexibility to an already versatile collection.

Grain + Pigment is a new, versatile offering of luxury vinyl tile featuring updated wood grain textures and subtly striated near-solids in a 7" x 48" plank format product. Natural wood tones, metallic sheen and colors ranging from warm to cool to bright give unlimited possibilities.

Suitable for all market segments, the collection features two styles: Grain: a wood-inspired design, with textures ranging from smooth to wire-brushed in natural wood tones. Available in 22 colors, including four colors with a soft metallic sheen. Pigment: a near-solid with a subtle texture available in 12 colors ranging from warm to cool.

Offering a new solution for open environments, Shaw Contract Group's new 24"x24" carpet tile collection, Flight, creates movement and defines space in environments free of structural constraint. Bold patterns inspired by how we move interplays with color, stripe and a shifting ombre - achieving a directional impact within a vast space. Drawing inspiration from the pavers of ancient plazas and the mathematics behind people moving from one location to another, the designs fold movement into static statements and provide new options for building scale and dimension.

Designed for public ambiance and engineered for heavy foot traffic, Flight provides a comprehensive flooring solution, featuring four tile products that are varied yet connected. Available in 13 colors, the palette features warm and cool tones as well as bold color options, which create varying degrees of movement and energy depending on how the styles are used within a space.

Based on the internal clockwork of humankind, Collective Time is a tile and broadloom collection that takes inspiration of the shifting light captured from day to night and proportions of time tracked in our daily routines of activity and rest. Intrigued by the body's circadian rhythm, the Shaw Contract Group design team used wearable technology to track daily routines throughout the development of the collection and become more mindful of activity levels and sleep/wake cycles. The metrics created from this personal data served as inspiration for the collection.

Featuring three tile and two broadloom styles, the products can be used to create scale and subtle color shifts across the floor. Collective Time offers the ability to create a dynamic pattern mix or a more monochromatic space.

Design Journey is an exploration of deep-rooted cultures and handmade traditions. Inspired by the Shaw Contract Group design team travels to Cambodia and Laos, the collection celebrates the culture, craft and technique of artisan weavers and captures the art of silk weaving in a luxurious and richly textured collection of designs.

Plush, textural and sophisticated, Design Journey includes two broadloom and six tile products. Refined textures with a high luster finish lend the collection well to professional services, corporate office and high end retail environments. Products offer varied scales of textures and eight styles in 15 colors, including warm and cool neutrals and deep rich hues.
