Milan 2014: Bowl and Fluent by Arik Levy for Inbani
Spanish bathroom brand Inbani has launched two new collections by Paris-based designer Arik Levy at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Conceived as a piece of jewelry, the Bowl collection mixes white ceramic with copper and marble details. Cage-like storage compartments made from copper or powder-coated metal are incorporated into a series of freestanding and wall-mounted wash basins and tables, while copper frames add definition and additional functionality to the wall-mounted and freestanding mirrors.
With its smooth rounded edges and corners, the Fluent collection is designed to express the flow from one form to another – from circle to square, from large to thin as well as from vertical to horizontal. Made up of mirrors and washbasins, the seamless design of the Fluent collection works well in a variety of interiors from classic to contemporary.
