From Baroque-inspired bathroom furniture to quilted chrome faucets, these luxurious designs combine modern minimalism with old fashioned opulence.
The Wanders collection by Marcel Wanders for Bisazza Bagno features a series of Baroque-inspired consoles and mirrors in black or white lacquered resin with smoked glass tops. This year Paola Navone added a new series of decorative finishes to her popular Boll basins for Flaminia. The romantic designs are inspired by oriental antique bowls and include two round basins, an oval basin and three bench basins.
The Reminiscence Slipper Soaking Bathtub by American Standard is all about comfort and visual flair. Resting on opulent chrome or polished brass claw feet, the unusual tub features a striking black interior and contrasting textured white exterior. A large, wide brims at the lumbar end with a raised headrest allows you to soak with a little extra back support, while molded-in arm rests enable you to lie back and relax.
The Dekora SENSE faucets by Daniel Rubinetterie S.p.A. feature a delicate low relief pattern across the spout, handle and the stem. Available in metallic, glossy or matt finishes, the faucets are spray painted in one color ensuring that the pattern subtly blends into the design.
The Aqua Jewels Collection by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders for Bonomi features a multi-facetted chromed brass surface that resembles quilted textiles. The luxurious line includes a shower, basin, bidet and an array of accessories.
