Cherrybomb lighting system by Lindsey Adelman for Nilufar gallery
Presented earlier this month at Gallery Nilufar in Milan, the Cherrybomb is a new blown glass lighting system by New York-based designer Lindsey Adelman.
The Cherrybomb lighting system by Lindsey Adelman for Nilufar gallery can be installed as a sconce, ceiling light or in multiples to create an entire room installation.
A frame made from bent brass tubing supports clusters of bright blue or soft pink hand-blown glass globes. At Gallery Nilufar, the lights resembled delicate branches of cherry blossom, growing up the wall of the gallery and across the ceiling.
The decorative surface of the globes is made by rolling opaque colored glass in 24k gold foil.
