Derome Light by Pinch
Launched last month at Maison & Objet in Paris, Derome is a new table lamp design from British studio Pinch.
Derome is a statuesque table lamp named after the 1970s French artist Derome who specialized in silhouette paintings.
Available in a dark stained tulip wood or a lighter ash finish, the shape of the Derome light strikes a strong silhouette, which contrasts with the gentle and ambient light quality it generates.
The dark Derome base is turned from solid tulip wood, and is stained blue/black and oiled, closely matching the dark tones of the blue/black linen shade.
The ash Derome base has a white-oiled ash base and an ash veneer shade, which when switched off has a chalky matt finish and when lit, casts a warm, pinkish glow.
The lights are supplied with a black or copper colored weave flex and a cylindrical touch-sensitive dimmer.
