Presented at Stockholm Furniture and Light Fair earlier this month, the Kalk sideboard by Swedish brand Klong is crafted from light ash and a fibre-cement material called Cembrit.

The Kalk sideboard contrasts warm, light ash with smooth, hard Cembrit.

Designed by Stockholm-based designer Ania Pauser, the Kalk sideboard features a zig-zagging design made up of large triangles of ash and Cembrit. The sideboard’s interior is clad in ash, with two drawers for storing smaller items. A powder coated steel frame with brass feet forms the base, while two sets of decorative brass handles add metallic accents.
