At this week’s Maison & Objet trade show in Paris, Vienna-based lighting brand Kalmar Werkstätten will present its popular Kilo TL table lamp with a new Emperador marble base.

Previously offered with a textured steel base, the Kilo TL table lamp by Kalmar Werkstätten is now available with a dark Emperador marble base.

The sculpted marble base anchors the slender brass stem which is topped with a light and contemporary silk shade. The diminutive size of the weighty cylindrical base sits in contrast with the lamp’s large shade, performing a seemingly impossible balancing act. The Kilo TL is a timeless design that lends itself to a variety of settings and styles.
