M2L Reissues Mid-century Iconic Furniture by Harvey Probber
M2L Brand for Harvey Probber lanched with casegoods and seating, including the Sling Chair, which was featured in MoMA's 1951 "Good Design" exhibition and is celebrating its 65th anniversary this year. Besides this bent wood wonder, the Harvey Probber collection includes 1949's Nuclear Coffee Table, a circular, two-piece wooden table that shapeshifts to form an S-shape or two half-moons. The Architectural Series of 1960 is also coming back, offering sleek, straightforward architectural forms.
Seating in M2L's Harvey Probber collection includes the luxurious Deep Tuft Sofa of 1972, which features a lush explosion of tufted cubes, and Mayan Sofa of 1981, which reinterprets the Mesoamerican zigguraut. Thanks to M2L, some of Harvey Probber's best pieces will be available to a much larger audience than collectors. Next year, more pieces will be added to the collection.
