Avio New Generation by Sebastian Conran for Villeroy & Boch
has updated its 10-year old Aveo collection by Sebastian Conran with a more contemporary look.
Aptly named Aveo New Generation, the collection boasts sleeker sanitaryware, new furniture and smart storage.
Although still as practical as ever, both the ceramics and the furniture have been tweaked to give a more contemporary look. The ceramics are now more contoured, lighter and the overall height of the sanitary ware has been slightly reduced.
The front doors and drawers of the washbasin vanities are slightly rounded, both vertically and horizontally, to mimic the smooth curve of the surface mounted washbasin. Discreet recessed handles are located at the sides of drawers and doors and sockets are hidden inside the washbasin vanity to provide a completely clean, uncluttered look.
In terms of storage the vanities feature an internal rail for holding small everyday utensils and an integrated hairdryer holder.
Both surface-mounted and freestanding washbasins in various sizes are available.
A vertical atmospheric light has been integrated into the mirror which can be dimmed and its color can be changed – choose between cold white light and warm yellow light.
A new addition to the line is an egg-shaped bath, which has been created in one piece, with its oval form appearing seamless with a rimless design. Crafted from Villeroy & Boch's innovative material Quaryl®; a unique mix of the finest quartz sand an acrylic, the bath is even more hardwearing and very easy to clean.
