 recently introduced Trace Metal, a new metal lobby seating for healthcare settings. By using molded wood and a powder coated metal frame, the line provides functionality and cleanability.

Featuring molded wood and metal, Trace lobby seating can also be upholstered with molded foam cushions: "If desired, the chair's back, and seat may be fully upholstered to eliminate the wood altogether." Available in 22-, 30-, and 40-inch widths, Trace accommodates most users in comfort. The heavy gauge steel frame and welded joints provide support for bariatric patients, and Trace's cushions offer support while reducing pressure points. The elliptical profile of the metal frame makes for a sleek, contemporary look and the material is "easier for infection control and cleanability," says Wieland.
