Showing at independent trade show designjunction‘s dedicated lighting show, lightjunction, in London last month,was this sculptural design by London-based studio Atelier Areti.

Atelier Areti’s minimalist Squares floor/wall lamp is a sculptural design that emits a soft, warm glow.

Made up of a powder coated aluminum grid of 20 squares, each containing an exposed lightbulb, Squares is designed to simply lean against the wall, but can also be attached to the wall or suspended from the ceiling, either vertically or horizontally.

About the designer: Atelier Areti was set up by sisters Gwendolyn and Guillane Kerschbaumer, one an architect and the other a designer. Atelier Areti is mainly based in London, but the sister's work in close collaboration with master craftsmen and manufactures in Germany and Sweden.
