Composed of two overlapping oval capsules of glass, the new Capsula lamps by Lucie Koldova are the latest creation from Czech Republic-based lighting brand, Brokis.

Inspired by forms found in nature such as cells and plant seeds, Capsula combines an external shell made of clear glass and an internal shell made of colored glass.

The external and internal shells are joined together by a tubular light source connected by two wooden components. The lamps are suspended by two lengths of knotted cord.

The lamps are designed by Paris-based Czech designer Lucie Koldova, who is also the Creative Director of Brokis.
