I'm still soaking up the summer and I love it. By the end of it, I'll have gone to beaches on the East Coast and the West Coast. I'm not a big seashell collector, but I am always fascinated by how the ocean can elegantly refine a piece of glass. Stones by Joel Berman Glass Studios reminded me of finding the perfect glass stone on the beach - thousands of them - together in the most beautiful glass product.

Handcrafted kiln-cast textured glass, Stones is part of the Bricks, Boards and Sticks Collection, a collection of products that time and again, has been recognized for its unique and inspired theme of organic abstractions and multi-dimensional cast glass textures. The translucency of Stones offers designers incredible possibilities in glass surfacing. Stones has the structure of traditional building materials but an organic pattern that ebbs and flows with sheer elegance. Stones is available in glass panels up to 52″ (132cm) wide x 108″ (274cm) high and with varying thicknesses: 1/2″ (12mm); 3/4″ (19mm) and 1″ (25mm).

Stones, like all of Joel Berman Glass Studios’ kiln-cast glass textures, can be custom designed into a variety of interior and exterior applications including partition and boardroom walls, office side light panels, balustrades, wall cladding, moveable walls and doors. Its organic patterning is strong enough to make a statement and delicate enough to add just the right amount of receding texture.
