Toshiba LED Lighting Introduces Several New LED Lamps
With several new LED lamps that deliver superior light quality and reduce energy costs, Toshiba continues to raise the bar for traditional lighting.
The BR30 LED lamp is manufactured to ANSI standards.
To replace the energy-sucking incandescent bulbs around the house, use the BR30 LED lamps instead of 65-watt bulbs. With a rated life of 40,000 hours, the BR30 is ideal for recessed down-lights and open hanging fixtures.
For a dimmer bulb, the B11 Candelabra E12 lamp is the perfect replacement for a standard 40-watt incandescent candle. The B11 family has a rated life of 25,000 and is ideal for chandeliers, sconces and other decorative fixtures.
Even more delicate lighting calls for the MR16 GU5.3 LED lamp which should be used in place of 20- and 35-watt halogen bulbs. The MR16 GU5.3 is ideal for recessed down-lights, track fixtures and display cases and has a rated life of 40,000 hours, and gives off 70 percent less UV light than traditional halogen lamps.
Shopping for yacht-lighting? Toshiba also released four 220-240V LED lamps suited for damp marine environments. The MR16 GU10, A19, PAR30S and PAR20 provide superior light quality and high luminous output.
All of the new releases are available in 2700K color temperature, are dimmable, contain no mercury or lead, and are ENERGY STAR Certified or Pending. Most come with a five-year limited warranty, and reach full brightness instantly.
