We Love Color by Pollack
Breaking from their traditional neutrals, Pollack Textiles first collection of 2013 introduced their latest high performance textile collection – We Love Color. Using color in playful and energizing ways, the new line features 20 designs, 6 drapery fabrics and 14 upholsteries.
Despite the fact that the name of the collection is We Love Color, design director Rachel Doriss explained the color is usually the last step in the design process. Choosing and material, and designing a pattern comes first, and the color palette is decided at the end.
On Target is like a beautiful geometry lesson – upon careful examination, almost every shape is found within the design. Modern color combinations keep the fabric fresh and modern.
Crosscut Plush features a beautifully designed kaleidoscopic pattern, carved out of velvet. Available in four different color combinations.
Belle de Jour is another beautiful drapery that has a geometric design. Draped around your home, this fabric will create exquisite shadows in the light.
Cosmic is another luxurious fabric. The hexagonal pattern that lies over top of a taffeta fabric, and when light hits the fabric below, it create an organic sheen. This unique quality makes every yard of fabric appear slightly different.
Flaxen Lace is a drapery fabric woven in linen and cotton, with an elegantly crocheted appearance which is available in both bleached and natural colors.
Etched Floral fills the entire area with embroidered swirling flowers. The sheen and color of the fabric create the appearance that the flowers are made of metal.
Ruffle is the most stunning fabric of the new collection. Laser cut strips of taffeta are embroidered to a ultra thin piece of nylon organza. When hanging, the fabric looks like strips of metal shimmering in the light.
