Wolf-Gordon Introduces Gleam Wallcoverings
American design-company Wolf-Gordon has announced a sparkling new collection of nine prints for hospitality, retail, and other commercial interiors that feature patterns printed in metallic inks and Mylar Film that catch the light. Patterns include Handel, Alhambra and Tessuto.
Gleam is a new collection of type II wallcoverings, whose metallic lustre is the result of a mylar transfer process and printing with metallic inks.
Wolf-Gordon’s inspirations for Gleam include Italian textiles, Moorish tile, Nordic botanicals and artisanal gold leafing. The result is a collection of are nine patterns including Handel - a large scale, contemporary plaid design, Tivoli - a silvery botanical print and Silvia - a new damask that features a very graphic, silver mylar outline of the trellis.
Designers can create dramatic changes of mood with the Gleam patterns, depending upon how they cast light on the wall.
Each of the nine patterns come in seven colorways, from soft, neutral looks to bold, statement shades. The Gleam Collection will add subtle shimmer to hotel rooms, corridors and large wall surfaces.
